Horses and humans have a lot in common

by Al Badia,

Horses and humans have a lot in common. They both share a similar family structure, are able to communicate their emotions, feel empathy for one another, learn to trust each other over time, thrive in open spaces and require social relationships to be healthy.

Horses also learn by observation, which makes them easy to teach. Humans can even mimic horse sounds or movements when communicating with them! Horses were first domesticated around 5,000 years ago by the nomadic tribes of Eurasia. They were used for transportation and as a source of food. Today we know them as our best friends and most trusted companions!
