Made up of Lieutenant-Colonel Sidi Mohamed El Mhamdi, Commander El Hassan Ahlimi, Chief Sergeant Aziz Outaleb and Sergeant Moulay Abdeslame El Hanafi, the Royal Guard team completed the first chukker with a net score of (4-0). During the second period, she increased the score by adding a fifth goal. During the third chukker, the British reduced the lead by scoring two goals, before conceding the sixth.
The fourth and final round saw the Household Cavalry, made up of Lieutenant Colonel Matt Woodward, Captain George Lane Fox, Captain Jamie Thomas and Lieutenant Jonty Barlow, score their third and final goal. At the end of this meeting, Major General Abdelaziz Chatar, Commander of the Royal Guard and President of the Royal Moroccan Polo Federation, and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Morocco, H.E.M Simon Martin, presented the Winner’s Trophy and the Moroccan-British Friendship Prize. This meeting was attended by a large audience, including diplomatic and military figures.
