Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the new edition of the Fujairah Equestrian Championships will be launched from 21 to 29 November, which embodies the emirate’s interest in reviving the cultural heritage of equestrian sport and strengthening its position on the regional and international stages, in line with Fujairah’s vision to make heritage sports a bridge between originality and renewal. The championships are held at Fujairah Fort Square and are organized by the Supreme Committee for Fujairah Equestrian Championships, as part of the emirate’s continuous efforts to develop and diversify equestrian activities and support riders and horse owners from inside and outside the country. This year’s events kick off with the Fujairah International Show Jumping Championship from 21 to 23 November, followed by the Fujairah Dressage Championship on 24 November, and the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship from 27 to 29 November, culminating in a month of high-profile competitions that combine the skill of riders and the beauty of thoroughbred Arabian horses.

This year’s edition of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship features the introduction of the “Silver Dagger Award” for studs for UAE nationals, in recognition of their contributions to the preservation and development of Arabian horse breeds, as well as the Golden Sword Award, which is the highest prize in the championship and is open to all participants, in an initiative that embodies the emirate’s keenness to support national competencies and promote the spirit of excellence in this ancient heritage field.

During the conference, His Excellency also expressed his thanks to the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, partners, and all supporters and media professionals for their continuous efforts and support for the championship. His Excellency added that these events are not just a sporting event, but an integrated project that consolidates equestrian as a civilizational value, which contributes to building human beings, developing a sense of beauty and belonging to the Emirati heritage.
He stressed that the organizing committee is working to develop each edition in line with the aspirations and reflects Fujairah’s growing position on the map of international championships, while benefiting from community support to ensure the highest standards of organization and excellence. For his part, Ali Musabbeh Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Fujairah International Equestrian Championships, stressed that the organization of this event reflects Fujairah’s distinguished position on the regional and international equestrian map, pointing out that this edition is characterized by an exceptional character in terms of the level of organization, participations and qualitative awards, which reflects the committee’s keenness to provide an integrated experience for riders and sports enthusiasts.
For his part, Sultan Mohammed Al Yahyaei, Chairman of the Seventh Regional Group, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, Chairman of the Federation’s Show Jumping Committee, and Director General of Sharjah Equestrian Club, expressed his happiness with the holding of the Fujairah International Show Jumping Championship on time, stressing that it is one of the most important five-star international championships, both in terms of the value of prizes and the participation of professional riders who represent many countries with high heels.
