The racetracks of Santa Anita Park witnessed intense racing and a historic milestone, the 4Oth edition of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. Longines, in its role as Official Partner and Timekeeper since 2014, rejoiced in this crucial moment. The highlight of the weekend came on Saturday, November 4th, when White Abarrio and jockey Irad  Ortiz J r. triumphed in the Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic, a race spanning over 2,000 meters. Their flawless execution delighted the audience as the horse and rider moved in perfect harmony. In recognition of their victory, the owner, breeder, trainer, and jockey of White Abarrio were presented with elegant timepieces from the Longines Master Collection.

Longines took great pride in timing fourteen races at this world-class event. Standout performances included jockey Ryan Moore, riding Auguste Rodin, securing first place in the Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf; and Florent Geroux riding Idiomatic to victory in the Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff.
