The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2025 opened its doors this week with an impressive display of heritage, innovation, and global collaboration. Among the notable attendees was Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, who visited the exhibition to show his support for the event and its growing global significance.
Held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), ADIHEX 2025 marks the largest edition in the exhibition’s history. Spanning an expansive 92,000 square meters, the event brings together exhibitors from 68 countries, making it the most extensive gathering of its kind in the Middle East and Africa. The event will run until September 7, giving visitors and enthusiasts ample time to explore its many showcases.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan toured various pavilions and met with international and regional exhibitors, praising the event’s ability to merge heritage and modernity. “ADIHEX is more than just a cultural or sporting event; it shows how we preserve our heritage and pass it on to future generations in a modern way that safeguards our identity,” he said.
Now in its 22nd edition, ADIHEX has grown to become a major platform for showcasing innovations in hunting, equestrian sports, falconry, and the conservation of cultural heritage. The exhibition not only highlights traditional practices but also embraces advancements in technology and sustainable solutions for the industry.

The 2025 edition has expanded to feature new interactive zones, workshops, and cultural programs aimed at educating younger generations about the importance of preserving Emirati traditions while adapting to modern global standards. International companies have also leveraged the platform to introduce cutting-edge equipment and eco-friendly solutions that align with global efforts toward sustainability.
With record-breaking participation and an increasing number of cultural activities, ADIHEX 2025 reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a hub for heritage, innovation, and international cooperation. The event serves as a reminder of the UAE’s commitment to maintaining its cultural identity while fostering dialogue and collaboration with partners worldwide.
As the exhibition continues throughout the week, thousands of visitors, from industry professionals to cultural enthusiasts, are expected to attend, making this year’s ADIHEX a milestone event in the region’s cultural and sporting calendar.
