Four Gold Medals, One Silver and Major Special Awards Reinforce Dubai Stud’s Record-Breaking International Success

Dubai Arabian Horse Stud has added another remarkable chapter to its international record after an outstanding performance at the Prague International Arabian Horse Championship 2026, where the UAE national anthem was played five times as Emirati horses dominated the championship.

Dubai Stud secured a historic super hat-trick of four gold medals, along with a valuable silver medal and several special awards, reaffirming its position among the leading Arabian horse breeding establishments on the international stage.

The latest achievement continues Dubai Stud’s exceptional record in Prague. In 2024, the stud claimed three gold titles, one bronze and the Best Breeder award, following its record-breaking 2023 campaign in which it secured four gold medals, one silver and one bronze.

Four Gold Titles for Dubai Stud

Against strong competition from leading European and Gulf studs, Dubai Arabian Horse Stud delivered another commanding performance.

The first gold medal went to the yearling filly D Jood, by D Sharar out of the internationally renowned mare D Judi, continuing a remarkable golden family legacy.

A second gold followed through D Dou, a daughter of the international stallion D Seraj and D Fannana.

The third gold title was secured by champion mare D Judi, by AJ Azzam out of Elly Flamenca.

Dubai Stud completed its extraordinary four-gold performance when international stallion D Sharar, by D Seraj out of the legendary FT Shaella, captured the gold title in the stallion category.

Dubai Stud further strengthened its medal tally when D Al Lahab, by international stallion D Shahar out of D Lamia, secured a valuable silver medal.

UAE Celebrates Fifth Gold Medal

The UAE’s success extended beyond Dubai Stud, with Azzam Al Amal of Al Bidayer Stud, owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, winning another gold medal.

The colt is by Al Jalal Baher out of Arabesca Scarlet Moon.

Al Bidayer Stud added a bronze medal through Celine Al Bidayer, by Arjuan Al Bidayer out of Badia Al Bidayer, further strengthening the UAE’s overall presence at the championship.

Special Awards Strengthen Dubai Stud’s Success

Dubai Arabian Horse Stud also collected several major special awards at Prague International 2026.

The stud was named Best Breeder Stud, while also securing the Inter Prague International Nations Cup for the sixth consecutive year, the Best Horse Movement award and the Best Sire award for D Sharar.

The additional honours capped an exceptional championship for Dubai Stud and underlined the strength of its breeding programme.

Al Tawhidi: “The Future Is Now”

Engineer Mohammed Al Tawhidi, General Supervisor and General Manager of Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, expressed his delight with the stud’s achievement, describing the Prague International Championship as a historic milestone that demonstrated the strength of locally bred horses on the global stage.

Al Tawhidi said the championship reflected the quality of Dubai Stud’s breeding programme when competing internationally. He emphasised the stud’s confidence in its locally bred horses and its commitment to continuing that success, inspired by Dubai and the UAE’s ambition to create a future that is already being realised today.
