Nakheel, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has been named the official sponsor of the second Dubai Racing Carnival meeting, one of the most anticipated events on the international horse racing calendar.
Taking place on Friday, 21 November 2025 at Meydan Racecourse, this year’s event marks the build-up to the 30th anniversary of the Dubai World Cup in 2026, a milestone year celebrating three decades of Dubai’s global leadership in horse racing.
As the master developer behind some of Dubai’s most iconic destinations, including Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai Islands and Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel’s sponsorship underscores its continued commitment to supporting the city’s excellence in sport, lifestyle and culture.
The day’s race card features the AED 500,000 Listed Dubai Creek Mile, an early indicator for the G2 Godolphin Mile at next year’s Dubai World Cup, alongside the AED 300,000 Thunder Snow Handicap, named after the only dual winner of the Dubai World Cup.
