Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club, the Zayed Main Stadium for Polo at the Ghantoot Club will host the friendly match between the two Ghantoot Polo teams and the “Moroccans of the World” Polo Team on February 17th. The visit of the “Moroccans of the World” team to the country comes at the invitation of His Highness the President of Ghantoot Club, within the framework of joint sports cooperation.
The delegation of the “Moroccans of the World” team includes Hicham Bakkar, director of Moroccan polo and co-founder, and Rabih Bendada, founding member, in addition to the team’s stars Karim El Dharif, Hicham El Zein, Mohamed Hachach and Elias Ben Margui, along with a group of international players.
The Ghantoot team previously won the “Atlantis” International Polo Championship title, which was organized by the Moroccan Palmieri Club in Tangier, Morocco, with the participation of 6 international teams in June 2023. The Ghantoot Club will hold a press conference next Thursday to reveal the details of holding the friendly match.
