The Higher Organizing Committee of the UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses Signs Agreement with Hoppegarten Racecourse to Host the Prestigious Cup in Coming Years

The Higher Organizing Committee of the UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses has signed a partnership agreement with the historic Hoppegarten Racecourse in Berlin, under which the Germany leg of the Prestigious Cup will be staged at the racecourse in the coming years, beginning in 2027, a step that confirms the continued global expansion of the classic Arabian horse racing series at the world’s most prominent international racecourses.
The agreement was signed between HE Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary-General of the Higher Organizing Committee of the UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, and Gerhard Schöningh, owner and Managing Director of Hoppegarten Racecourse, on the sidelines of the series’ participation in the UAE–German Business Forum, held in the city of Munich.
The agreement reflects the Higher Organizing Committee’s commitment to continuing to strengthen the Prestigious Cup’s partnerships with historic global and European racecourses, providing top-tier races that support owners and breeders and giving elite Arabian horses continued opportunities to compete at the most prominent international destinations.
The Hoppegarten leg represents an extension of the Prestigious Cup’s continued presence in Germany, after Baden-Baden Racecourse hosted the Germany leg over a number of previous years, before it moved to Horner Rennbahn in Hamburg for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
