Jumping International de Dinard : the ambassador 2025, Steve Guerdat, opening

The Swiss rider Steve Guerdat, riding Looping Luna, won the Prix Les Estivales de l’Équitation, the highlight of the first day of the Dinard International Show Jumping competition. With an exceptional line-up of riders, the three days of competition ahead promise to be spectacular, culminating in the Rolex Grand Prix ville de Dinard on Sunday afternoon.

There was a sense of certainty in the air at the Val Porée equestrian stadium…Steve Guerdat, ambassador for the 113th edition of the Dinard International Jumping competition, won the first CSI5* event of the four-day competition, the Prix les Estivales de l’Équitation, a two-phase speed competition at 1.45m. The course designed by course designer Jean-François Morand saw only 17 pairs out of 78 starters complete a perfect round. Starting as number 67, the Swiss rider crossed the finish line in 35.45 seconds, stealing the show from Roger-Yves Bost, who had set the pace earlier in the competition with Embassy du Château (35.81 seconds). The reigning European Champion, crowned just a few days ago in La Coruña (ESP), Germany’s Richard Vogel completed the podium with Cubi Cubells (35.94).
