Rashid Al Abbar Leads Team Noon to Victory at the 2025 Emaar Polo Cup
The “Noon” team, led by young Rashid Mohammed Al Abbar, was crowned champion of the 2025 Emaar Polo Cup, hosted by the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club from February 10 to 23. The victory came after a well-deserved win against the “Bin Drai” team, led by Mohammed and Khalid Bin Drai, with a final score of 9 goals to 6.5. With this, Rashid Al Abbar led his team to their fourth consecutive win, earning a perfect score of 8 points in the tournament.
The “Equity” team placed third after defeating the “Abu Dhabi” team, which finished fourth, with a score of 6.5 to 6 goals. The tournament concluded with the participation of seven prominent teams, featuring mostly Emirati players alongside Arab and international professionals, all competing for the fourth edition title and total prize money of AED 120,000.
Notable Participation
The championship featured a lineup of strong polo teams including Abu Dhabi Polo, Al Basha Polo, AM Polo, Bin Drai Polo, Noon Polo, Equity Polo, and Lamar Polo. The final match was held between the Noon Polo and Bin Drai Polo teams.
